After bursting in tears for days and nights, I eventually stood up and continue living. I am now doin' just fine. Divine intervention is the reason. People see me smile and laugh again, full of energy. People don't see any single drop of tear falling from my eyes anymore. I am even acting normally to "him" and to "her". They also don't hear me sobbing loudly.. But they never see and hear that it's my heart that cries.. that I am hurting inside.Sooner or later, I believe I can get through this.. I can. I will. I MUST.

Yesterday was Ate Iza's birthday(BELATED HAPPY BIRTHDAY,ATE IZA!!!). So lucky I got to spend time with her yesterday. It wasn't planned. We both got surprised that we met each other by chance.. Or should I say it was GOD's will. Whatever the reason was, it really made me happy. Here goes the story..

One side:

I am a student nurse assigned to Philippine Children's Medical Center for a week. Yesterday was our last day. One of my groupmates handled a cancer patient kid.

Other side:

I knew that Ate Iza decided to spend her birthday with cancer patient kids. But I didn't know where will it be held. What I knew was she will be going to Robinson's Pioneer in the afternoon.

Two sides together:

Yesterday, at around 9am, Danica (a groupmate) came up to me and said "Uy Lain! Dito daw "Uy Lain! Andito daw mamaya si Amihan sabi ng mom ng patient ko?!" I got shocked and said, "Huh? Danica answered "Dito daw siya magcelebrate ng birthday niya with cancer patients. Mamaya daw 12noon sa conference room." There, I realized that Ate Iza and I will be able to meet each other. What a moment! Great! What I did next, I called Ate Iza to tell her that we could meet up but she wasn't answering my calls. I texted Chuchay to tell what was going on. She then tried to call Ate Iza too. But still, Ate Iza wasn't answering. I felt hopeless already. We were dismissed at 12 noon by our clinical instructor. My groupmates were asking me to go with them but I refused. I chose to stay in the hospital to try waiting for Ate Iza. Though I am a shy person, I had the courage yesterday to go in the Conference Room and look for Ate Iza. I saw her but I got shy. I didn't know how to approach her until my adrenaline (hehe) brought me to her. Haha. She got surprised when she saw me. She asked me to be with her as she goes out. I accompanied her. Before she left, she requested a photographer to take a picture of us and promised me that she will give a copy. She also requested me to join her at Robinson's Pioneer. So, I went there with my Baby BM. I was able to meet Rosalie, Ate Iza's yaya.


I really had a great day with Ate Iza!I love her a lot!

Hi there everyone! NYOY VOLANTE's new band already had their first exposures and gigs. The other day, they played at World Trade Center. Last night, they played at Lazzo Bar Quezon Avenue. They are really great. The band includes NYOY VOLANTE on vocals and lead guitars, MAYNARD ALBIS on drums (little drums,hehehe.), STEVE GONZALES on guitars, ABE SILVA on bass, and JOHN REY PAGALAN on saxophone.



As one of the people who have witnessed NYOY from the start (not from the very start), I can say that he's still the best! Though before, he had different band members. The accompaniments have been changed but NYOY's music still rises well.

On the other hand, I still miss the guys (MANNOS)...MAYNARD remained as NYOY's co-member of the band though.

Anyway, I wanna say thank you to Bops Jessy, Pie my Anak, Beb April and Bez Macky for being with me. I had a great time.

I had a very interesting day today.. I did something which I haven't done for a long time.. I sent Nay Gisela and Tay Ruben ( my ex-boyfriend Eyin's parents) the same quote and day greeting early this morning. Tay Ruben replied with a thank you. Nay Gisela replied with a how are you. So, I updated her about me. I also had the gutts to say I miss her and the whole family.. My eyes got teary because of joy when Nay Gisela said they miss me too.. It made my day so bright.

After that, things got better between my two groupmates, which made me even happier.

I was really having a colorful day, but then my BEZ turned things gray. (I hope we'll be okay soon...)

Trying to get me in a good mood again, Pie my Anak and Bops Jessy asked me to join them in Greenhills. I did. We passed the Morato way..and while we were there, I saw a familiar-looking car in the distance. Right then and there, I joked to myself that it was my ex boyfriend Maynard's car. Wonder of wonders, when we got nearer, it was REALLY his car. I didn't know what to feel. I don't even know if that was just a test, a coincidence or what, but whatever it was, I just had to laugh at it. Yeah, I just laughed at it. I didn't take it deeply anymore.

A day of EXes?! Haha. All I can say is.. what a day!..

Yeah, I'm okay. Some good things happened.

-He said sorry already and we're okay now. I believe it will start to rekindle the group's bond.

-I met Bessie Anj at McDo Q.Ave yesterday! Waaaaakk! I missed her a lot. We were both surprised.

-I am doing good in my Head Nursing experience at Fabella Hospital.

-This may sound shallow but I am overwhelmed by my new testimonials at Friendster. I haven't been able to check my account lately. Hehe.
